Friday, 1:15 pm - Panel Slot 1 ( at the Congress Hotel ) Live Cast Panel

This panel will consist of information on shadowcasting in general including how to start a shadowcast or how to mount a non-Rocky Horror show. Different components of a shadowcast show may be covered including how to approach a theatre, establishing a leadership style/type and rules that work for your people, assigning the key positions on cast from performers to security/tech and everything in between. Will also discuss information on promoting and advertising for a show, how to grow your following through social media and other avenues. Questions will be taken from around the room.

 

Friday, 2:30pm Panel Slot 2 ( at the Congress Hotel ) Cast Management / Show Runners & Tech Panel Panel

This decidedly NON Cast Leader panel will consist of staging managers and other key personnel that manage show minutiae and contribute greatly to the actual running of established shows and shadowcasts. Panel will comprise of people cast leaders have recommended as their "Go To Person" and "Number One Guy" when they need something done. The Tech panel will feature successful and tenured prop-masters and Tech Directors, sharing their knowledge about prop-building, tech-management and show execution.

THIS is the panel not to be missed if you want to know about the ins and outs of managing and running a Rocky Show. Questions will be taken from around the room.

 

Friday, 4 pm - Panel Slot 4 ( at the Congress Hotel ) Internet Panel

This panel will discuss Rocky Horror in the "Internet Age". Topics will include;
How a cast manages their performers and promotes their shows and advertises to their audience.
The pitfalls and risks putting your eggs in one basket and relying on sites like RockyHorror.org or facebook to exclusively manage your cast and promotions, and lack of control, and what to do if and when they fail.
Why social media is NOT a replacement for a cast web page and why every cast should still have a site THEY control and not tied to a third party.
Social media and communications through email / facebook / tumblr / pinterest / Twitter / YouTube-Vimeo-Vine.
General Rocky Horror sites that aren't cast centric / specific.
rockyhorror.org / rockyhorror.com / rockywiki
The demise of sites like rockynewsgroup.org (and the newsgroup in general) and MySpace and its effect on RockyHorror on the internet.
Webcasting cons / shows.
Future of Rocky Horror through the internet.

Friday, 5pm - Panel Slot 5 ( at the Congress Hotel ) Rocky Horror on Facebook.

Like it or not, for better or for worse, Facebook, for many, has become synonymous with a successful internet presence. Led by rockyhorror.org's Chris Ambler, this intensive and technically orientated panel focuses on maintaining a high profile Facebook presence as both a performer and as a cast. Will delve heavily into Facebook's metrics system and will inform you how to get the most out of your Facebook page.

Saturday, 12 noon - Panel Slot 6 ( at the Congress Hotel ) Costume Panel

This panel will feature costume/wig makers and experts in the knowledge of Rocky Horror costume details and construction. Learn the details, the little tricks of the trade, how to find bargain buys, and which resources to trust. Questions will be taken from around the room.

Will also include care and maintenance tips from Mina and others after the main panel discussion.
